Pat Kearney, President.

It is my pleasure to address you, the Chamber membership, as President of the Gander and Area Chamber of Commerce.

The Gander and Area Chamber of Commerce is the largest Chamber of Commerce, outside the St. John’s Board of Trade, which brings a lot of responsibilities and demands for a volunteer Board of Directors. The current and previous Boards represent a diverse team with experience from many sectors of business who demonstrate a proactive approach to issues ensuring our members’ interests are represented professionally. The Board and staff of the Chamber are a dedicated team representing the membership on various fronts.

The Chamber continues to foster relationships with MP Scott Simms, MHAs Kevin O’Brien, Paul Oram, Harry Harding and Derrick Dalley, Gander International Airport Authority, Towns of Gander, Appleton, Gambo, Glovertown, Fogo, Change Islands, Joe Batt’s Arm-Barr’d Island, Seldom/Little Seldom, Twillingate, Central Regional Health Board, RCMP, 9 Wing Gander, Kittiwake Economic Development Corporation, Doctor Recruitment Committee and various other groups to ensure the area remain “Positive, Progressive and Prosperous”!
