Centreville and Indian Bay

Driving along the Bonavista Bay highway you will pass through communities such as Indian Bay, Wareham, Centreville, and Trinity. The Indian Bay area offers some of the finest sports fishing opportunities in the province. The Indian Bay Ecosystem Corporation works hard to conserve these local fish stocks for people to enjoy for years to come. In late August/September, the surrounding barrens produce abundant and flavorful blueberry crops. The Towns of Hare Bay and Dover are nestled on the shores of Lockers Bay. Dover has a unique geological fault, which gives the town its name. It lies along a fault line in the earth's crust known as the "Dover Fault". The Dover Lookout is an ideal location to view this geological wonder, and learn about the forces of geological drift.
