All Around the Circle Dinner Theatre

Since 1998, the cast of the All Around the Circle Dinner theatre have wowed audiences with they many talents. Performing from June to September, the Dinner Theatre has become a major point of interest in the Twillingate area. Included with the show is a traditional meal consisting of homemade vegetable beef soup, fish dish with mashed potatoes, glazed carrots, homemade bread roll and dessert along with tea or coffee.

Bergs And Bytes Internet Cafe

The Bergs and Bytes Internet Café is a unique coffee shop that provides visitors with the best of modern technology and a breathtaking view of the town. The cafe has seating for 16 inside and 12 on the patio. They serve a variety of dishes including breakfast, desserts, and lunches. Weekly, there is a lunch special consisting of an East Indian dish. The cafe is open year round.

Curiosity Shop

Located on 37 Island Drive, the Curiosity Shop offers visitors a wide selection of items made by local artists. This work includes paintings, jewelry, knitted quilts and clothing, wood crafts, sun catchers, and driftwood art. Prices for items vary. The Curiosity Shop is open from May to November.

Durrell Museum And Crafts

After opening in June 1978, the Durrell Museum has become a major point of interest for tourists traveling through the area. Located on the top of Old Maid, the location offers guests a great view of the town. Inside, visitors will view a variety of artifacts such as armory uniforms, and rifles from the Boer War. As well there are a variety of artifacts that depicts the fishery, lifestyle and culture of the people within the area. One of the most fascinating items to view in the museum is the polar bear. Located on site is a craft shop and tea room. The Durrell Museum is open from May to September.

Iceberg Quest Ocean Tours

The Iceberg Quest Ocean Tours is a great way to explore the rugged terrain of Notre Dame Bay and experience the playful humpback, majestic icebergs, and seals, along with the many other wonders of the sea. Built in 1876 at 331 feet about sea level, the Long Point Lighthouse is an excellent spot to rest and take in the view of icebergs. It has become a highlight for both tourists and locals alike. Located on site is a viewing platform with picnic areas, telescope, and walking trails. Located in the bottom of the lighthouse is a museum that provides a historical look at Newfoundland's antique collection, cultural and natural exhibits. As well there are a variety of arts and crafts for sale. The Country Outport is located just steps away from the lighthouse. A unique little store that provides a variety of items. The Long Point lighthouse is open from May to October.

Moretons Harbour Community Museum

Situated within the beautiful hills of Moreton’s Harbour is the Moreton’s Harbour Community Museum. Reflecting the past, the museum commemorates the two world wars and has a variety of artifacts on site including a wedding dress, books and telegraph equipment. In addition to the war memorabilia the museum has a room dedicated to the fishery in Moreton’s Harbour and a tea room which serves a variety of teas. The Moreton’s Harbour Community Museum is open from June to September.

Parkview Boat Tour

Parkview Boat Tours offers adventure enthusiasts an exciting experience through Notre Dame Bay. Aboard the Dildo Run Express, Captain Wayne Laite will guides visitors through some of the most scenic views including wildlife such as whales, birds and icebergs. The Boat tour is two hours and has three daily departures. Evening cruises are available. Available for rent are various types of boats including single/double kayaks, paddle boats, canoes, and power paddlers. A craft shop is also located on site and accommodations are available on Georges Islands in a 4 bedroom fully equipped cabin.

Pikes Arm Museum And Lookout

Located in a 100 year old restored home, the Pike’s Arm Museum offers visitors the chance to take a glimpse into the past. Decorated with time period furniture, the museum depicts the life and history of Sir William Ford Coaker, an advocate of the fishery. On site is a walking trail and lookout in which visitors can view Baccalhao Island Lighthouse, Herring Neck and Twillingate. Located near by is the Pooh Land Playground which is a great spot to enjoy the view and have a picnic.

Stuckless Fine Arts And Driftwood Gallery

Recognized as one of Newfoundland’s most talented artists, Ted Stuckless was born and raised in Twillingate. Located on Main Street, the Driftwood Gallery displays a large collection of paintings, photos and artwork created by the artist. A large selection of artwork by other local artists is also available. Original work can be commissioned by Ted Stuckless. The Driftwood Gallery is open year round.

The Prime Berth

Located in Main Tickle, the Prime Berth Twillingate Fishing Museum is dedicated to preserving the history of Newfoundland’s fishing heritage. Located on site are a variety of artifacts including an old fishing store and fishing stage, sea aquarium, ducks, bunnies, cod trap display, trap skiff engines, craft store and ice cream shop. guided tours are available. Twillingate Adventure Tours

Twillingate Adventure Tours has three daily departures usually taking two hours each. Along the tour you will spot whales, icebergs, beautiful scenery and learn about the history of Newfoundland and the Twillingate area. The ship, M.V. Daybreak, is a 55 foot boat that is fully inspected and approved by the coast guard with Captain Perry Young. The ship is wheelchair accessible and washroom facilities are available. Twillingate Adventure Tours operate during the summer months.

Twillingate Museum

Built in 1915, the Twillingate Museum is located in an old Anglican Rectory and proudly displays the heritage and culture of the Twillingate area peoples. There are many artifacts on display including clothing worn by the famous opera singer Marie Toulinguet. Also located on site is a craft shop with a variety of items for sale by local artists including knitted goods, paintings, photographs, books, prints and clothing. Weil Winery

The Weil Winery officially opened the doors in 1998, and since then has continued to offer visitors a wide selection of wines, all made with the finest quality of fruits and berries.
